Muraly Balasunderam’s career, spanning over two decades, is marked by his innovative approach in engineering and product development across various sectors. Before joining HME and VTP, Muraly was the Energy Systems director at Jayco Inc., where he led strategic initiatives in energy storage systems and played a vital role in advancing Recreational Vehicle technology.

Muraly’s tenure at Wonder Foods, NYC, as the Senior Director of Electrical Engineering and New Product Development, was distinguished by his leadership in transitioning the company’s powertrains to hybrid and electric platforms, significantly reducing manufacturing costs and operational expenses.

Muraly held several influential roles within the Specialty Vehicle industry including Product Manager and Chief Electrical Engineer. His efforts have been pivotal in identifying new product opportunities, executing comprehensive market research, and developing compelling product value propositions. Muraly’s leadership in the industry has been key to enhancing product designs and execution across various engineering projects.

In his new capacity, the breadth of Muraly’s experience and skillset will be leveraged as needed across different functional groups including operations, project management and engineering (compliance).

Muraly earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University and his Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management and Marketing, at the Indiana Institute of Technology.
